Thanks Fr Jr. In the UK, humour is banned on train announcements, although there are a few excellent fellows (and lady equivalents) who flaunt this convention. There appeared to be one on local trains in South London (pronounced Sarf Lahn-don) who received some excellent radio and blog coverage - http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,787694.
